What has Sold in the Harbors at Haverstraw this Past Year?

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening to you!
When I tell people that I live at The Harbors in Haverstraw and that I specialize in real estate there as well, the most common question that I get when I talk to people around Rockland is, “How are things going down there?” My first reaction is one of a resident who has lived here for 3 years, and it sounds something like this “Unreal!!! Duh!!!” But, being an associate broker with Wright Bros. Real Estate for 5 years now, what people really mean when they ask me, “How are things going down there?”, they want to know; what has sold recently? for how much? and are they still building?
Well, first off, they are still currently finishing some townhomes on Harbor Pointe Drive, the main strip of the development. (Current residents, repeat after me, “Working on new construction in 2009 is a great thing.”) To everyone else that passes by the development, you might be thinking, “What’s going on with that big, unfinished yellow building?” Well, I have the scoop, GDC says the Parkside building (which will be 5 stories high) will be finished in 2009 or 2010 the latest before they build the 4th and final condo of Phase I, the Riverside. Along with this news, GDC also told us that the Parkside will be a rental building (with an option to buy if you like) to start, with hopes of eventually converting the building back to condo’s.
As for what has sold in the past year and for how much, I will give you all the stats here on my blog and update them every 3 months. I get my info from the Greater Hudson Valley MLS not from the GDC sales office. I find GDC to be secretive and misleading, that’s not my style, I give only the facts and since it appears that all units that GDC can’t sell are listed on the MLS, this info is accurate. But keep in mind, it might not reflect ALL the sales from the past year. I will break this down into 2 sections, first I will give you the 15 homes that have TT (title transferred or closed); secondly I will show you the 5 homes that are currently UC (under contract, waiting to close). I hope you find this information valuable because that’s my intentions, to give you facts that are important for FREE!!!
