Peanuts! Popcorn! Elephant! Circus, circus read all about it!

In celebration of the quadracentennial of the Hudson River and the bicentennial of the circus –The Amazing Grace Circus tent is being raised today, July 15th in Memorial Park! The circus will be in town through August 2nd…it’s been over 100 years since a circus tent was raised in Memorial Park.

Look for lots of great events:

July, 19th, Sunday — Family Fun Day in the tent - Try walking the tight rope, learn to juggle and don’t miss the Cotton Candy Social provided by the Nyack Rotary.

July 25th, Saturday — Circus parade steps off at 10 am at the corner of Franklin and Main! Come see the parade –with the First ever Elephant to walk down Main St!

July 28th, Tuesday, 7:30 pm — Circus Movie under the tent — Jimmy Stewart in the Greatest Show on Earth! All seats $5.

Circus Camp under the Big Tent, a summer camp for kids, will run from July 20-July 31! You can get registration forms online at www.amazinggracecircus.org.

There will be 7 circus performances from July 25th- August 2. The July 31st performance is a Gala Benefit for Amazing Grace Circus. Tickets are available at Riverspace. www.riverspace.org
