Haverstraw Street Fair : September 13, 2009

Good evening everybody! How are you tonight?

This Sunday, not only did the Jets win their regular season opener in Houston against the Texans 24-7, but it was also the Haverstraw Street Fair. First off, the weather was unreal, not a cloud in the sky. Second, there was tremendous energy and a buzz in the crowd with people who were having a great time. There was food, drinks, ice cream, shopping, music, games and a whole lot more. Maria Rodd, the executive director of The Haverstraw Chamber of Commerce, was the person who coordinated the entire event! So, on behalf of all of Haverstraw and the from the board of directors we say THANK YOU for all your hard work, its people like Maria that make Haverstraw as great as it is.
