Dancing Under the Stars : My Big Fat Haverstraw Wedding

Good evening everybody! How are you?

On Friday, September 11, 2009, the Arts Alliance of Haverstraw and The Greater Haverstraw Chamber of Commerce celebrated a wedding! Well, not exactly… For the past two years, Dancing Under the Stars has become one of the most anticipated events in the Village of Haverstraw. After two rain outs the weather was not cooperating on this night as well. However, the event was held inside the 3rd floor of the Riverstone building on Broad Street and it was a total success. There was a live band and a DJ, guests were dressed as if they were in a wedding party. Pete McGuire, who is opening up a French Pub in October in Haverstraw was wearing a wedding dress!!!
