Calling all Texas Hold’em Players…2nd Annual Casino Night

This Saturday night, February 28th at 7:30 pm at the Nyack Seaport, INSPIRE Nyack will hold it’s 2nd Annual Casino Night to benefit the Nyack Schools District. Last year, Daniel Juechter, Board Chair, reported they were able to give $40K to help expand the robotics program in the schools. They hope to beat that this year.

For the Texas Hold’em players there is a tournament — an additional $75 to play. — 50/50 cash to the winner…and there will be craps, blackjack and roulette too. At the end of the night — you cash in your chips for raffle tickets. The raffle items this year are 52 inch TV’s, a laptop, Wii and others.

My husband Greg and I had a great time feeling like high-rollers that night — wildly gambling “play” chips. Patrick Mahoney aka legendary Auctioneer of the evening did a fab job of selling the very unique auction items to the highest bidder. They are saying in the live auction this year — there are 2 vacation homes — I believe both somewhere in the Hamptons, 8 tickets to Yankees vs Red Sox in the new stadium, golf outings, 2 seats at the Garden for a Knicks game with private shoot around, Be the Nyack Indians Honorary Captain for a game and the list goes on….

And there is a silent auction also!!!

Couples ticket is $250 — Single is $150 — and there are other sponsorship level prices. Open bar, buffet dinner is all included.
