Enough I say!

Enough of these pseudo east coast snow storms! Enough with the freezing rain, ice storms and sleet showers! Enough with people acting like the Armageddon is coming while stockpiling goods from Stop and Shop and Costco!

I mean seriously, have you checked out the weather on the west coast? My favorite mountain in ‘Rado, Steamboat a/k/a Powder Town USA has received only 175″, that’s 14 feet of snow for those of you who don’t have a calculator handy. How about Spokane, WA they got 6 feet of snow over the past 3 weeks, freakin’ crazy!

Back to Rockland, last night we had another “winter weather advisory”, maybe the National Weather Service should reconsider calling anything in the State of New York, winter weather. As I drove down 9W from Haverstraw to Nyack today, I noticed how pretty the trees were that had that white tint to it. Just imagine if we had a winter like the west coast does here in Rockland. What would we do with ourselves? They close and delay schools here (not when I was younger) at the 1st hint of winter weather, only to wake up to rain and slushy roads. I always joke, ooohhh, I’m so scared to take my AWD SUV out in that kind of conditions, yeah right! So, whenever I hear people in Rockland say, a storm is coming, I laugh and think about the 14 feet of fluffy stuff in ‘Rado.

In summary, this Rockland Realtor says, in 2009, bring back the nations housing market (of course) and drop some POW (powder) on the East!
