2 for the price of 1: fill the local pantry and pay your library dues!

Now more than ever the need at the local food pantry is much greater and it’s hard to keep the shelves full!  From April 11th through April 19th, you can help People to People (local pantry in West Nyack) and remove your library fines, charges and lost items from your library card!  Here’s how it works….you must be a resident of Nyack.

 

To remove fines, you must bring one item from the “Most Wanted List” below.  For a lost item, you must bring one item for every $30 of value.  So if your lost item is valued at $62 – you must bring in 3 items.  The lost item must belong to the Nyack Library to qualify. 

 

Most Wanted List:

One box of hot or cold cereal

One box of macaroni and cheese

One can of tuna fish

One box of spaghetti

One jar of spaghetti sauce

 

In addition, the library will replace your lost library card free of charge during this amnesty week.  Bring your photo id with you.
